Balaji Mohan’s last year release film ‘Maari’ created marvelous record on Box office board and now makers planned to make the sequel to Maari and wants to reprise the lead actor Dhanush in ‘Maari 2’. Tamil gangster comedy film Maari is written and directed by Balaji Mohan starring Dhanush and Kajal Aggarwal, was extremely loved by the Audiences and gets flooded positive response.

“Director Balaji Mohan has been working on the script of ‘Maari 2′ over the last few months. The project is expected to go on the floors around October this year. By then, Dhanush will be relieved of all his commitments, including his Hollywood project,” a source close to Dhanush told IANS.

“He will reprise the same role in the sequel. The team is waiting for Dhanush to grow back his handlebar mustache for the film,” the source said.
