Sushant Singh Rajput to play Madhav Jha in Mohit Suri’s Half Girlfriend

After the Box office Success of Mohit Suri’s Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain Romantic Films, Director up with one more Flick named Half Girl Friend inspired from the young adult romance fiction by Indian author, Chetan Bhagat. There were several speculations for the lead actor fro Romantic film and After several rumored talks finally Sushant Sinh Rajput confirmed as the Lead actor for the film. He had to play role as lead actor Madhav Jha, A guy from Bihar. However Sushant originally born at Patana, Bihar and that is the core reason why director liked him to play the role.

As per the Source information, Sushant went to director;s house in the dead of the night and spoke to him in the Bihari accent much like the character Madhav Jha, in Half Girlfriend. Its been further revealed that Sushant read the book and almost perfected and readied himself for the role, much to Mohit’s surprise.

Mohit Suri Said,  “When I was reading the book, I realized that Madhav’s character has an unique mix of naivety and ruggedness that is so intriguing and extremely crucial to the story. However the challenge was to put a face to this endearing Madhav Jha, Which I could never do until I met Sushant. I was blown away with his sheer dedication to embody the character. I was shocked at first, but impressed at how hard he had worked on perfecting certain nuances. I knew right then, that I had found my ‘Madhav Jha’.

Half Girlfriend Story line is Interesting as book by Chetan Bhagat itself received the positive reviews from the readers. To bring the interesting Romantic story on screen Mohit suri and Chetan Bhagat get togather to make the film under the Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures Production. Half Girlfriend movie actress not confirmed yet.

Apart from that, Sushant lastly gave the box office hit film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! and one more film also lined up for him is Biopic M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story in which actor played lead role as Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
