Airlift Box Office Collection: Crossed 100 Cr Mark in 2nd weekend

Akshay Kumar’s Raja Krishna Menon helmed film Airlift released on 22nd January and within 2 weeks of release film crossed 100 Cr mark. Yes, Akki’s real life inspired film has mind blowing Sunday on 31st January. Film collected 8.26 Cr on the Sunday of Second Weekend which is totally amazing. In total Airlift earned 102.76 Cr at the End of second weekend.

Airlift received amazing response from the first day itself and got decent boost on each day. Box office public rush remained hassle free even if the other Bollywood film releases. Airlift film follows the real life character Ranjit Katyal played by Akshay Kumar who carried our a biggest civil operation of evacuation of Indians based in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait war.

People loved Akki and Nimrat Kaur’s acting together and appreciated the film. Interesting thing is that even with last Friday release film Mastizaade, many film goers picked up this powerful thriller Action packed family entertainer and which resulted in Impressive box office business.
